Tugun Fruit Market Switches to Solar

Posted on Tuesday, October 31, 2017

Tugun Fruit Market has made the switch to solar, enabling them to not only save money, but also significantly reduce their carbon footprint.

The project was completed on the 16 October, 2017 and has seen the installation of 270 panels and three 40kw inverters with a maximum capacity of 91.8kw.

Driven by the rising costs of electricity, the projected savings for the Tugun Fruit Market is expected to be at least $24,500 per year and are likely to be even greater as the costs of energy continue to rise.
Congratulations to Tugun Fruit Market on the installation of such a significant solar system. It's fantastic to see more Southern Gold Coast businesses implementing methods to improve both economic and environmental sustainability.
