Tugun Favourite Gets Reinvented

Posted on Wednesday, October 25, 2017

Groove Café Tugun as we know has undergone a total facelift, with the Southern Gold Coast favourite being transformed into the tropical oasis, Havana.

Marie Phillips took over the ownership of Groove Café and Hidden Wine Bar in March 2017, and always had fresh ideas to reinvent both the local favourites. With Hidden first to receive the makeover, Groove has followed suit, coming out the other side of the total inner and outer transformation as Havana.

Following the renovations, visitors can expect an extension of Hidden with the same tropical plantation style, lighting and interior decorations as well as elegance and sophistication with a touch of tropical charm.

Havana will not only continue to operate as a café from 6:30am, 7 days a week, but will also trade into the evening from Wednesday to Sunday with a delicious range of Tapas. With a focus on supporting local, three local craft beers will also call the tap home as well as a range of local spirits.

Alongside the re-fitout, Havana has a new breakfast menu, using only the best local produce and suppliers to continue to deliver the same quality that has put them on the map as one of the Southern Gold Coast’s best eateries.

Havana is now open to the public.
