Buskers by the Creek has announced the first of more than 250 performers who will surprise, delight and entertain audiences along the picturesque shores of Currumbin Creek on 15-16 October. Busking will now be approved at certain sites across the Southern Gold Coast to support existing festivals and events, with a trial commencing in May. The approved sites in Coolangatta and Tugun will allow buskers with the required Council permits to perform on-street entertainment only during major festivals and events. ..

Buskers by the Creek 2015 was another great success, held on 17 and 18 October at Winders Park, Currumbin. Thousands turned out to be entertained by the unique mix of bands, solo artists, street performers, acrobats, yoga classes, skydivers, fire twirling and more – all happening across the free two-day event.
Buskers by the Creek 2015 has received approval and will be back in Winders Park, Currumbin on 17 and 18 October 2015. The outdoor music and entertainment event attracted crowds of over 10,000 people in its inaugural year last year, and organisers will be busy holding various “Side Street” events at various locations throughout the year to promote the festival to new audiences. As such they are anticipating an even greater crowd in 2015. ..
