Fundraiser Helps Fight for Injured Wildlife

Over 400 guests attended the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital Foundation’s Annual Gala Dinner in May this year to raise funds and awareness in support of Currumbin Wildlife Hospital. The Animals with Attitude and Gala Dinner events successfully raised over $80,000 profit for the Foundation, but there is still a way to go to reach their target of $1 million a year to continue their fantastic work. ..

In 2014 City of Gold Coast Coast’s economic development division supported Gold Coast Swim Fashion Festival by funding a capacity building program with 10 selected Gold Coast designers participating in a series of workshops. The selected Gold Coast based swim and resort labels received instruction from top level business, fashion educators and successful labels to accelerate their learning and business capabilities.  ..

Bleach* Festival, an initiative of Connecting Southern Gold Coast, is moving to its own independent  company from 1 July, 2015. The new entity, Bleached Arts Ltd, will take ownership of Bleach* Festival and be responsible for delivering the annual event – now the largest arts and cultural festival in the city.
