"Surf World Gold Coast has introduced special holiday prices for the June/July school holidays. Adults $5, children/concession $2 and families $12. The surfing and beach culture museum has lots of great surfboards and memorabilia and is located directly across the road from Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Open daily 10am to 5pm."

Rhemagraphics "The Art of Surfing" competition and exhibition. Now calling for entries from surfboard manufacturers, graphic artists and schools for original artworks on new or secondhand surfboards. Posca Art, Digital Art, Airbrush Art, Stencil Art and any other artform that doesn't effect the performance and functionality of the board welcome. Entry forms together with $20 entry fee (school entries exempt) to be at museum before 1 August. Completed artworks to be at museum before 1 September. Exhibition will run Sept/Oct with winners announced at the Shapers' Night on 22 September. First prize sponsored by Rhemagraphics $1500 value of graphic art and printing.
