The doors to Kirra’s newest eatery are now open, bringing a vibrant yet simplistic American inspired menu to the Southern Gold Coast.
St Helens is the first restaurant venture for husband and wife duo, Jess and Brendan Hayes who will not only own, but operate the restaurant as Head Chef and Front of House Manager.
After meeting in Seattle and relocating to Victoria where they worked in restaurants and wineries on the Mornington Peninsula and in the Goulburn Valley, the family moved to the Gold Coast to pursue their dream of opening their own restaurant.
St Helens is led by U.S born Chef Jess, who uses locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce as her inspiration, introducing another side of American cuisine to Australia’s dining scene.
From Fried Cauliflour to Mac n Cheese, Crab Cakes, Vegan Fried Chicken and Rainbow Trout, guests will uncover a diverse menu that caters to all dietary requirements.
