Connecting Southern Gold Coast’s popular Business Success Program is taking registrations for its final round of workshops for 2017.
Commencing on Thursday 9 November, the program gives local Southern Gold Coast businesses the knowledge, skills and confidence to move into the next stage of business growth.
The four week workshop series is run by Small Business Solutions and TAFE Queensland and results in the participant receiving a Certificate 4 in Small Business Management.
This month’s course facilitator, Dr Edward Gifford, has worked with more than 400 small businesses through the SBS Program with his specialist consulting services focusing on small and medium business development, strategic thinking, team building, workplace and executive coaching and building leadership capacity and capability with managers.
Through the workshops, you will learn how to:

■ Improve, innovate and grow your business
■ Optimise your business with the latest online business planning
■ Create a practical, user-friendly business action plan, the must have tool for your business
■ Develop an innovative digital marketing plan and grow your connection with customers

■ Find focus with productivity tools and techniques
■ Reduce your stress by actioning a business improvement audit on your business
■ Upgrade your mindset and be empowered as a purposeful leader in business
■ Create a safety net for your business
■ Take away tools that will boost your business
Last month, longstanding Coolangatta business, Attwood Marshall joined the workshop program, presenting a Business Structuring Advice & Asset Protection session led by Legal Practice Director, Jeff Garrett. A trusted and integral part of Coolangatta’s business community for more than 20 years CSGC CEO, Peter Doggett, said the inclusion of other successful local businesses has helped grow the program from strength to strength.
Held at the Connecting Southern Gold Coast offices on Level 2 at The Strand at Coolangatta, the successful training program is in its fifth year and has helped more than 50 local businesses per year build their success.
The course is normally priced at $2,500, however Connecting Southern Gold Coast's subsidised price to Southern Gold Coast businesses is just $49 (including GST).
The final course dates for 2017 are Thursday 9, 16, 23 and 30 November, 2017.
