Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has just launched their latest attraction, Kids on Conservation Trail.
The program not only aims to be fun for all ages, but to educate children and parents on the efforts undertaken by the Sanctuary to conserve Australia’s native wildlife.
Little ones can follow footprints to 12 locations across the park. At each location they’ll collect a stamp, learn about an endangered animal, or discover more about a conservation program, and continue on the trail. Upon completion of the trail, they will receive a small gift to take home.
The tour will give visitors the opportunity to visit the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, see the vets in action and catch a glimpse of the breeding and recovery programs that operate at the Sanctuary.
To celebrate the opening, locals can purchase tickets at a special online discounted price at http://www.cws.org.au/wilddeals/
