Palm Beach Currumbin State High School is preparing for its inaugural fundraising Gala to be held on Saturday 25 May 2019, bringing together the school community for a fun and memorable event and to raise funds for the new Library +Plus project.
The elegant evening of live music, dancing, raffles, silent auction and community spirit includes a drink on arrival with canapés, buffet dinner and dessert.
The Library +Plus project will enhance school facilities in the form of a purpose built multi-storey facility comprising a modern, welcoming library with much needed additional classrooms and flexible, multipurpose space for students, staff and the broader community.
The three-storey building will provide a large covered area at ground level and above, a brand-new library with the latest IT and the top level has nine general learning areas, which can be opened up to create expansive spaces for various teaching layouts, an examination hall, a teacher-training area and for events and functions hosted by students, the school or the community.
PBC are also asking local businesses to support their fundraising efforts by donating goods or vouchers for the raffles and auction that will be held on the night. Please note that donations are tax deductible.
The Gala will be held on Saturday 25 May from 6:30pm until late at Palm Beach Currumbin State High School.
