Nominations are now open for the 2018 Queensland Tourism Awards. Southern Gold Coast businesses have the opportunity to be recognised for their outstanding achievements within the state's tourism industry.
Operating for 33 years, the prestigious awards program and event publicly acknowledge and showcase Queensland's finest tourism operators. There are 30 categories ranging from attractions, events, tour and transport, accommodation, restaurants, culture, marketing and more.
Last year's awards were one of the best for our region. The Gold Coast collected 7 awards in total with 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze, with gold honours going to O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards for Wineries Distilleries and Breweries; TreeTop Challenge for Adventure Tourism and locally based Lady Elliot Island for Ecotourism.
Nominations close 31 May and submissions are due 21 August before the winners are announced at the Gala Awards Ceremony on Friday 16 November at The Star Gold Coast.
