Mateship Run Returns to Currumbin

Posted on Friday, March 17, 2017

The Mateship Run is returning to Currumbin RSL for its third year on Sunday 30 April, 2017 and is an opportunity to come together during ANZAC commemorations and recognise the extraordinary contribution the past and present Australian Defence Forces make.

With a 1.5km, 5km or 10km course, participants of all ages and fitness levels can either run or walk along Currumbin’s stunning beachfront.

The ANZAC fun run will raise funds for Soldier On, an organisation which supports returned servicemen and women with the physical and psychological wounds from their service. The funds will stay within the local community and be used to assist with funding Soldier On’s first Reintegration and Recovery Centre for Queensland, now housed at the Currumbin RSL Veterans Support Centre.

To register for the Mateship Run, visit www.mateshiprun.com.au or for more information about Soldier On, visit www.soldieron.org.au.
