Kirra’s Inaugural Cycling Event Hit Top Speed

The inaugural Kirra Criterium Classic hit the road on Saturday October 10 in an exciting event that captured the attention of countless cycling enthusiasts and the general public. The thrilling showdown included corner spills, sprint races and powerful finishes on a closed section of Kirra’s Musgrave Street.  

Sponsored by Armstrong Real Estate at Kirra, the event proved to be a highly successful format, attended by hundreds of onlookers and adding plenty of excitement to Saturday morning breakfast for regular café-goers along the Kirra foreshore.

The inaugural Kirra Criterium Classic took place as part of the Tour de Valley cycling weekend on the Southern Gold Coast from 10-11 October.
