This month we’re taking a leap off the pages with our regular My Office photographer, Brian Usher from Ocean Road Magazine, to share more of Brian’s photography work from near and far.
Brian's photos have been the driving force of the popular My Office segment which has featured over 100 local business owners across the Southern Gold Coast since it began two and a half years ago.
As well as being the photographer and Editor In Chief of Ocean Road Magazine, Brian has covered recent local events including Cooly Rocks On™ and has photographed some of the Gold Coast’s and Australia’s biggest names throughout his career. From commercial and retail to landscapes and people, Brian is one of the coast’s most celebrated photographic talents.
Having started Ocean Road Magazine with his wife, Melissa, seven years ago, the publication soon became the premier lifestyle publication in the region, with distribution covering from Ballina and Byron Bay right up to Sanctuary Cove. They've featured cover stories on local icons from World Champion surfer Joel Parkinson to Ironwoman Hayley Bateup and The Block host, Shelley Craft.
The magazine's success has also captivated the Chinese market, with their content now published on a Chinese version of their website. Beyond the lens, Brian has been behind the push to move further into the digital space with the magazine remaining at the forefront of consumer engagement. To view Brian's extensive photography portfolio or find out more about his photography work, click here.
