The Southern Gold Coast is part of the city wide Gold Coast Film Festival again with a film night inspired by the regions surf history and culture at Queen Elizabeth Park on Sunday 14 April.
The beachside film night begins at 6:30pm with Proximity
(Unclassified), a film that takes viewers on a journey to some of the most exotic locations around the world, capturing conversations between the world’s best surfers.
Starting at 7:30pm, Never Town
(PG) is part surf film, part conservation film about surfers working together to protect a special part of the Australian coast.
Concluding the night at 8.15pm is Under an Arctic Sky
(M) which documents a journey to the most remote corner of Iceland in search of perfect surf.
Bring a rug or chair and grab food and drink from one of the many local restaurants nearby.
