Former CSGC Chair Honoured with National Award

Connecting Southern Gold Coast’s own former Director and Chair, Murray d’Almeida has been honoured with the nation’s top franchising award.

The Gold Coast local was inducted into the Franchise Hall of Fame for his services to the sector at the FCA Excellence in Franchising awards night in Canberra on Tuesday 11 October.

The chairman of Gold Coast-based BPS Technology and active member of the Gold Coast community, Murray has devoted almost 40 years to the Australian franchising sector.

Since his career as a franchiser commenced in 1978, Murray has developed several franchise chains with both national and international success, including Hot Bread, BBs Coffee Outlets, Retail Food Group to name a few and has also purchased 50% of the Donut King chain.

Connecting Southern Gold Coast congratulates Murray on his achievements as a long term contributor to Australia’s franchising industry and our local region.
