With less than eight months until the best cyclists in the Commonwealth go for gold at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, the nation’s best masters cyclists will be the first to take on the official course at the Cycling Australia Masters Road National Championships on Sunday 29 October.

Cyclists from across Australia will flock to the Gold Coast to race on the GC2018 18.7km closed-road circuit which features a range of challenging terrain while showcasing the picturesque region.

Kick starting from Currumbin’s Pacific Parade, the route highlights some of the Southern Gold Coast’s most beautiful and diverse landscapes, from the iconic Currumbin Beach to Currumbin Creek and even Currumbin Valley.

Presented by Cycling Queensland on behalf of Cycling Australia, the Championships will act as an operational trial for the GC2018 Cycling Road Race.
