Posted on Friday, August 04, 2017

Connecting Southern Gold Coast and Destination Tweed have partnered with Southern Cross University to host an Asian Inbound Tourism Symposium at SCU on Thursday 7 September, 2017.

This free event will feature experts on the Asian market and is a must for accommodation and service providers to learn more about meeting the needs of the booming Asian inbound tourism market.

In 2016, the Gold Coast attracted 295,000 tourists from China alone. Symposium attendees will hear for an industry panel of experts from the airline, accommodation, and tourism industries, with confirmed guest speakers from ATEC and Tourism Australia.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to learn more about growing your tourism business by targeting the Asian inbound tourism market.

The Symposium is open to all tourism operators on the Southern Gold Coast and Northern NSW, commencing at 4.30pm (registration from 4.00pm) on 7 September. Light refreshments will follow the Symposium, courtesy of SCU.

Registration is essential. For further details and to register, visit: www.tourism-symposium.eventbrite.com.au
