Connecting Southern Gold Coast is launching its new Business Success Program for 2016, commencing in February.
CEO Peter Doggett said the new program, delivered by TAFE Queensland and Small Business Solutions, was designed to enhance businesses across the Southern Gold Coast through targeted learning and skills development.
“If you’re looking to grow your business, start a new business or are simply looking for advice on how to do business better, you’re sure to find a program that will interest you,” said Mr Doggett.
The organisation is inviting businesses based on the Southern Gold Coast to participate in any of the 10 business competency modules throughout the course of the year.
“Commencing with the first module on Wednesday 10 February 2016, topics will cover everything from planning, marketing, social media and staff management to the secrets of business success.
“Each session will be focused on small groups of business owners to provide a more personalised approach, with popular business mentor, Dani Frazer.
The courses are being heavily subsidised by Connecting Southern Gold Coast to encourage local businesses to participate. Each 2 hour workshop is normally priced at $195, however the discounted price for Southern Gold Coast businesses is just $49 (incl GST).
“You can enroll in one workshop or all 10, or pick and choose those that are of interest to you and your business.
“This is our fourth year of running a highly successful training program in association with Small Business Solutions and TAFE Queensland within our region.
“The feedback has been extremely positive from those small business who have undertaken past courses, and the subsidy makes it great value for money."
Business Success workshops will be hosted once a month on Wednesday evenings from 6pm - 8pm at the Currumbin RSL.
