Christmas Message from Cr Chris Robbins

Posted on Wednesday, December 02, 2015

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all residents in Division 14 a happy festive season. I realise that many of you work in the tourism and hospitality sector, and so for you this may be a time of conflicting work and family responsibilities. However, I hope that you can find the time to down tools for a little while at least and spend precious moments with your family and friends, as these are, after all, the people who play the most important part in all of our lives.

No matter what your situation though, do stay safe and take some time to enjoy all that life on the Gold Coast has to offer in this Christmas season.

On another note there is a very important Council consultation under way about potential routes for the 3rd stage of the light rail that closes at Christmas. If you do have a spare moment, please take the time to have a look and contribute your views, as connectivity of the light rail all the way to the south of the city is possibly the most important piece of transport infrastructure to ensure the future growth and prosperity of our region.
