Connecting Southern Gold Coast is proud to have sponsored the Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce Business Awards held yesterday at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
Congratulations to all of the businesses that received awards yeaterday. Especially to the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Green GuardianProgram who took out the Connecting Southern Gold Coast Special Achievement Award.
Green Guardian is Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s conservation program designed to deliver tangible benefits for native wildlife, the community and future generations. Funds raised through the Green Guardian program directly benefit Australian wildlife through protection and conservation via valuable research and veterinary services delivered by the Sanctuary. Current projects include building a new Conservation Research Centre and Wildlife Hospital to continue the Sanctuary’s vital work. Unlike other major zoos, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is not government-funded and relies on its commercial activities to support its purpose – wildlife education, conservation and research.
Congratulations also goes to Swell Sculpture festival for it’s Business Achiever Award; Product or Service Innovation ! A well deserved recognition for their hard work and dedication over the years to building Swell Sculpture Festival into a signature event for the region!
