Why not advertise your business through Directory Saver. Directory Saver is a new form of global marketing where customers download a FREE application to their iPhone and browse offers on-the-go.
The mobile phone application allows businesses to advertise and promote offers. It is the first of its kind in Australia working to help businesses get their name out there into the public both local and interstate and promote their offers in digital format.
This ground breaking application will enable users to download vouchers on-the-go via the iPhone or web and redeem them at point of sale.
Our company is growing fast and is attracting businesses who are looking to expand their customer base by putting special offers in their advert to bring new business through the door or at least have customers coming back again and again.
The wonderful advantage about this product, is that it is not locked into a year of the same advertisement like print media advertising as it also allows changes to be made to promote new offers within your business, throughout the year. Connecting Southern Gold Coast Ltd has decided to go ahead with a listing as a means of further promoting the region. We recommend that you consider the benefits of such a listing for your business in order to directly promote and drive increased profits for your business!
Please visit the website www.directorysaver.com . OR Contact Mandy Mills – 0414641819 for an obligation free appointment.

Gold Coast City Council Budget – Features for the Southern Gold Coast
The GCCC’s budget for the 2011 financial year, handed down on 21 June, has some very good points for the Southern Gold Coast.
Connecting Southern Gold Coast Ltd was allocated the full amount of the special rates levy of $600,000.00 plus an increase of 4% to apply towards its activities in promoting events and festivals, tourism and business investment and attraction to the region. Significantly $40,000.00 of the levy has been approved for allocation to the CoolyRocksOn Festival, subject to the approval of the Board of Connecting Southern Gold Coast Ltd.
Cr Robbins Divisional Budget has again received approval to part fund events like Swell and the Kirra Kite Festival.
Subsidization of Bus Services from the region has been expanded by way of the transport levy. The existing service from Tweed- Airport-Elanora-Varsity Lakes was awarded $700,000.00 to continue subsidy of the service. On Cr Robbins’ instigation, a much-needed, new Night Rider Service from Coolangatta into the Tweed was awarded $70,000.00 and should improve the ability of late night visitors to exit the Coolangatta precinct in a safe and pleasant way.
In terms of direct local and tourist amenity of our region the following are noteworthy:
- The Great Ocean Walkway extension from Kirra to Bilinga will see a further $700,000.00 spent on it to bring it to completion. This, too, is significant for the amenity of locals and tourists alike;
- The Kirra Hill Community Centre has also received additional funds to allow it to be completed and to serve as a conference and community centre located atop Kirra Hill, one of the best lookouts on the Gold Coast;
- $260,000, funded from Cr Robbins Divisional Funds and the Community Improvement Programme, will be spent on street-scaping the roundabout at the corner of McLean and Griffith Streets, Coolangatta; and
Finally, a substantial allocation has been received to continue the dredging at the mouth of Currumbin Creek to ensure that it offers safe boating access to the Ocean.
So the new financial year promises to see much happening in the beautiful Southern Gold Coast. Let’s enjoy it!
Best wishes
Jim Wilson
General Manager
